Open Light Night Starts Tonight

I’m exciting to be playing a new weekly event in Philadelphia, starting tonight. Open Light Night is the brainchild of BassBoy75 and MOTM. It’s a weekly forum / open screening for filmmakers, visual artists, VJ, etc. I’ll be playing between films (and during if the artists wants it). Ortlieb’s (if you don’t) know is a classic jazz club in Philly. They’ve been catering to the mostly old school, stardard jazz crowd for sometime. With this event, and others like it, they’re trying to open things up a bit.
I’m sure each week will be different, but for now, I’ll be playing loops, textures and sounds from my laptop/APC40 and the grand piano. I hope it becomes a great network for the emerging fields of new digital experimental visuals artists (and musicians as well).
This first installment is tonight, November 30 at 9PM. The second installment will be December 14. Then starting January 4, it will be every Monday.
