Aeolus

This weekend I finished the score for my new piece Aeolus that will premiere at the Schuylkill Center on September 19. I’m very excited about this work as it combines a graphic score with traditional notation and improvisation. Here’s a snippet of one page of the score.

I’ll be delivering the scores and starting rehearsals with the quartet this week. I’m also making good progress on the wind sound sculptures. I can’t wait to see it all come together.
